Wheels of Fortune

A creativity platform to share a passion for contemporary Caferacers, arts and music was the intitial idea behind Wheels of Fortune. Founded by bike enthusiast Niels Kleinlooh, creative constructor Wido Veldkamp and ilustrator artist Trobbies, plans for building a first bike combining the knowledge and passion of the team of three was born fast.

Being a Ducati enthusiast since owning his first Ducati 600 Supersport, an unique passion for the Italian brand was born and continues ever since for Niels. Inspired by the bevel drive Ducati’s, but out of reach in terms of budget, the idea came to make an own interpretation of a contemporary Caferacer based on a Ducati, but lighter and more powerful than the bevel drive’s.

To realise this project Wido Veldkamp joined the team, a talented engineer known for his ability to create lightweight frame constructions with an incredible eye for detail and finish. With his inputs the original idea evolved very fast, integrating some of his new ideas, which seemed impossible on paper.

In order to really have an own identity ilustrator artist Trobbies also joined the team, managing to get the creativity and vision to a whole other level. Being responsible for the logo’s, website and visual part, the team has been formed to realise some new projects of passion.
